Scope and objective of Tally Technologies Certification
With a globally growing client base of Tally, the demand for customisation is on the increase. To meet this need we have introduced the Tally Technologies Certification for Tally Technologists, Tally users, Accounts and Finance professionals and for those who want to venture into the domain of customising Tally. The objective of Tally Technologies Certification is to provide individuals with an effective benchmark, against which they can test their skills and knowledge of Tally Technology. The comprehensive Tally Technologies test paper will enable them to measure themselves against the high standards necessary to be a Tally Technologist. The certification programme has been designed and developed to consistently produce certified specialists who meet these high standards.

The Certification Process
Certification is a result of the candidate passing a 60 minute online test that consists of a total of 50 basic and advanced level questions. The test is divided into three major sections. The time for each section has been set, based on a standard division and can vary from person to person. The Tally Technologies Certification test has been designed and developed keeping in mind the requirements of the industry, so that the person is ready to face tough challenges on the job.

The test covers the following sections:
Tally Fundamentals- This is a section with 4 questions on the basics of Tally
Tally Technology Level 1 - This is a 35 minute duration section containing 32 questions on Tally Technology
Tally Technology Level 2 – This is a 20 minute duration section, containing 14 questions on some advanced features of Tally Technology

Limits for Passing and Certification
The passing limit for each individual level is set at 50% of the total number of questions in that particular section Tally fundamentals – At least 2 correct answers
Tally Technology Level 1 – At least 16 correct answers
Tally Technology Level 2– At least 7 correct answers To qualify for certification, the person taking the test has to score a minimum of 55% overall. This means that at least 28 answers out of 50 should be correct. This also means that at least 3 more questions over and above the minimum 25 questions required to pass, in all sections, must be answered correctly. There is no negative marking on questions that are answered incorrectly.
