TALLY TO HOST JOB FAIR IN HUBLI

Tally (India) Pvt Ltd today announced that it will be hosting an all day Job Fair in Hubli on September 24, 2006 at the JG Commerce College in Hubli. For the first time, being targeted at candidates in North Karnataka, the Tally Job Fair will cater to candidates living in and around Hubli and Dharwad. 

With over 50 companies attending the Tally Job Fair, and opportunities for 300 openings spread across India, Vietnam, West Africa, candidates will get a unique opportunity to interact with potential employees in their home towns.

The Tally Job Fair is open to any candidate who has completed his graduation and is looking for opportunities for growth. Candidates can apply for jobs like Accounts Executives, Technical Support Executives, Accounts Managers, Portfolio Executives, Tally Faculty positions etc. Candidates will need to bring with them 4 copies of their resumes and passport size photographs along with proof of their highest qualification (graduate, post graduate degree certificates) and any additional qualifications they might have.

Speaking on this new initiative, Mr. Avinash Gupta, CEO-Education and Training Business of Tally (India) Pvt Ltd said, “The key driver of this initiative is the industry requirement for a ‘trained’ candidate. The program intends to fulfill the immediate need for Tally trained professionals. We are attempting to ensure that companies receive candidates who are proficient in the use of Tally software through our TallyAcademy network. At the same time we create a job market for well qualified individuals who would otherwise need to travel to Bangalore or Hyderabad to seek employment.”

Candidates will be able to avail the Tally course being offered at neighbouring Tally Academys in Hubli, Dharwad, Haveri and Gadag, to qualify themselves for these positions. With the industry requirement for trained candidates increasing, Tally has created this unique single point forum for both companies and potential employees to interact, thus fulfilling two requirements at one go.

TALLY and AVAANATM sign MOU for RFID

As Tally’s Preferred RFID Partner, AVAANA’s RFID technology enables Shoper for Retail industry

Tally today announced its alliance with AVAANATM, an Innovation and Integration Services Company focused on the high growth RFID market. The Tally-AVAANA alliance is to RFID enable Tally Products and establishes AVAANATM as Tally’s Preferred RFID partner.

AVAANATM will be providing the RFID enablement for the TallyShoper Retail POS (Point-Of-Sale) of India’s largest product software company. This targets the high-growth Retail industry. This will also be deployed in an upcoming industry RFID pilot.

RFID is a data collection technology that provides suppliers, retailers, manufacturers and distributors with up-to-the-minute supply chain visibility, from inventory and logistics to freshness dates. RFID is powerful because it provides a unique identifying serial number to each and every item, unlike bar codes that typically have a unique number for a set of similar items.
