Tally Team in Bihar for Pilot Projects

THE SEVEN-MEMBER team from Bangalore based Corporate Office of Tally (India) Private Limited arrived in Patna on Thursday to explore avenues for their education and IT Projects in Bihar. They will make a presentation before the minister for Information and Technology (IT) Dr Anil Kumar on July 14.
Tally officials will make a power-point presentation of their projects, including those for better governance at the district level, real-time monitoring of scheme implementation at panchayat level, e-enabling MLAs and It capacity building of government employees.
The minister had invited the Tally officials in June with an offer to open centers in Bihar. He had asked them to present their pilot projects. Chief Executive Officer Avinash Gupta, CG Kumar (Vice-President), Piyush Singh (Manager) and team members of Tally ( India) Private Limited were present on the occasion.
The government is planning a two-day IT conference in the State Capital post-monsoon to draw the attention of all major IT companies across India and abroad on the Emerging Investment Opportunities in Bihar
