More on Tally Pragati

Apparently, It seems like a DEAL! Yeah! if you can sell any Tally Accounting software ...

When you enroll under Tally Pragati or Tally- Earn While You Learn scheme, You would be given 6 coupons worth Rs.1800 EACH. One coupon would only be redeemable against one number of Tally Accounting software. (That means you cannot get a copy of Tally Sofware free by redeeming all coupons at once… wish you could). So the customer gets a net saving of Rs1800 and the students gets Rs 900. So if your marketing skills are a killer and you manage to flog all the coupons, you make a cracking 5400 bucks. It doesn’t stop there!  If you manage to achive this sales target .... Tally would let you have more coupons ... more you sell , merrier for all.

Tally Launches GoGold Upgrade Scheme

Wednesday, July 25, 2007:  Tally Solutions, an accounting software firm, has launched GoGold Upgrade scheme. This scheme is aimed at users of earlier licenced versions of Tally, such as Tally 6.3, Tally 7.2 and Tally 9 (single user) and will be available for customers who activated their packages before 1 April 2007.
Over two lakh existing customers are yet to experience the power of Tally 9 and they are the target customers of this campaign. The company hopes that a significant number of these users of its earlier versions will avail themselves of the scheme and upgrade to Tally 9.

While the normal price for an upgrade to a Tally 9 Multi-User in the open market is in the range of Rs 18,000 to Rs 33,000 (depending on the version of Tally that the customer is using), the campaign allows existing customers to upgrade to Tally 9 Gold at Rs 9,000. It has been announced that all product and statutory updates will be made available only on Tally 9.

The GoGold upgrade scheme will run till 15 August 2007 and is available through a network of partners across the country.
